So, i've been taking lysine since a few weeks ago and although it is early days yet, i think it may actually be helping a lot.
I have had a couple of small ulcers in this time which is far better then some of the huge ulcers i had been getting of late. With taking the lysine supplements, both ulcers have healed within about 3 - 5 days and never became too painful. Usually i would be looking at at least 7 - 10 days healing time and they would be massive and very sore.
Like i say, it is v early days but i have a good feeling about this and it helping me get by without ulcers!

So, it's now been around 6 months since i started using lysine.
It's conclusive that lysine does work for me in ridding me of mouth ulcers. If i stop taking it, i get them again but then i just start taking the lysine again and it clears them quickly and stops them from forming into vicious ulcers. This is really good news for me, and i hope it works for anyone who reads this and wants to try it.
